知識和金錢想打個賭，看誰最受世人歡迎，于是各找了一個代理人，來到世間。

知識和金錢一道走進一家酒樓。酒樓老板把知識推到樓下粗席就座，把金錢讓進了樓上雅席。
Knowledge and money go into a restaurant together. The tavern owner pushed the knowledge to the rough seats downstairs and gave the money to the elegant seats upstairs.
金錢洋洋得意。
Money triumphs.
知識憤憤不平。
Knowledge is indignant.
然而知識查驗出整座酒樓彌漫著一種乙肝病毒，便及時離開了。

金錢終于住進了醫(yī)院。
Money finally went to the hospital.
一場大火，將金錢和知識的住宅燒成了一堆灰燼。災(zāi)情調(diào)查小組前來登記損失情況。
A fire burned the house of money and knowledge to a heap of ashes. The disaster investigation team came to register the loss.
金錢嚎啕大哭：“我的鈔票，還有股票，全沒了，全沒了……”

終于有一天，知識和金錢都要去見閻王。

閻王指著金錢說：“你在世間刮夠了錢財，享夠了清福，世人都愿你早日見我�，F(xiàn)在，該你吃吃苦頭了。來人，拉下去下油鍋、坐電椅……”

閻王又對知識說：“你來之后，世人都在痛哭流涕，埋怨我過早地召你到陰間。現(xiàn)在，我再給你陽壽，回世間為人們造福去吧！”
