　　How time flies! Today was the forth day since I came here. Everyday was different. Today Mr. Brodie let us Wtch a movie. It’s called “pride and prejudice”. The heroine was very beautiful and clever. The environment was beautiful too. The movie was interesting but I thought our teacher was more lovely than it.

　　Miss Zhang taught us grammer. It was difficult but important. So we must learn it. It was important for us to learn English. It helped us to talk with foreigners.

　　In the night, we will have an exam about vocabulary. Our teacher said it was easy so I am sure I can do it well.

　　At weekends we have no lessons, but we have many interesting activities.

　　On Saturday afternoon, we watched the movie Forrest Gump in the classroom. It’s a good movie. It’s very moving, sad and happy. You can learn a lot from the movie. Forrest is stupid but he’s also very clever.

　　On Sunday we had singing contest. I am one of the contesants. My song’s name is One Love. It’s a song of Blue, a British music group. I went into the “Final Seven”. But other contestants were really excellent. I didn’t get any prizes. Another contestant from our class called Candy was the third-place winner. Congratulations to her! Though I didn’t get prizes, I was very happy. I tried my best.

　　Today is an exciting day. In the morning we had the singing contest. Everyone did well in it. Somebody sans lyrics and somebody didn’t. When the result came out, only Audrey and Ellison could be in the second run. Vanessa was very sad. But finally she was in the second run. It was really great news for her.

　　We stayed in our rooms for the whole afternoon. We played cards, slept, read, practiced some English songs for the contest and did out homework. It was a little boring.

　　In the evening, we had the final singing contest. It was really great. At last, Vanessa got the second prize. Congratulations to her! All of us were proud of her. Edle gave her a bunch of flowers! Then we returned to our rooms.

　　It was really a good day today!
