今天是星期六，是一個(gè)陽(yáng)光燦爛的日子，爸爸媽媽帶我去杭州的河坊街玩。

河坊街上可真是熱鬧非凡！來(lái)來(lái)往往的人群川流不息，各式各樣的手工藝品五花八門，令人眼花繚亂。我們邊走邊看，忽然看見(jiàn)在一個(gè)小攤位上圍滿了人，我趕緊沖上前去看個(gè)究竟，原來(lái)人們都圍在那兒挑萬(wàn)花筒呢！我拿了一個(gè)畫著京劇臉譜的萬(wàn)花筒，朝里面望了望，驚訝地看到萬(wàn)花筒里出現(xiàn)了變化多端的圖案，我就拉著媽媽讓她給我買了一個(gè)萬(wàn)花筒。
Hefang Street is really bustling! The flow of people came and went, and the variety of handicrafts was dazzling. As we walked, we saw that there were people around a small stall. I rushed forward to see what was going on. It turned out that people were all there to pick up kaleidoscope! I took a kaleidoscope with the face of Peking Opera and looked inside. I was surprised to see the varied patterns in the kaleidoscope. I took my mother and asked her to buy me a kaleidoscope.
回家后，我就開始研究萬(wàn)花筒為什么會(huì)出現(xiàn)這么變化多端的圖案呢？我問(wèn)爸爸媽媽，他們也說(shuō)不出個(gè)原因來(lái)。于是，我上網(wǎng)查了查。原來(lái)，萬(wàn)花筒的秘密就在于光的反射，它的`圖案是靠玻璃鏡子反射而成的。它是由三面鏡子組成一個(gè)三棱鏡，在一頭放上一些各色玻璃碎片，這些碎片經(jīng)過(guò)三面玻璃鏡子的反射，便會(huì)出現(xiàn)對(duì)稱的圖案，看上去就像一朵朵盛開的花。只要不斷地轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)萬(wàn)花筒，玻璃碎片發(fā)生新的組合，就會(huì)有無(wú)窮的新圖案和新花樣。
