用法

　　1、be+名詞：

　　The man is a science teacher.

　　這個男子是一位科學(xué)教師。

　　Bill Clinton was the president of the US.

　　比爾克林頓是美國總統(tǒng)。

　　2、be+形容詞或副詞：

　　This soup is very tasty.

　　這湯很美味。

　　Mary’s new dresses are colourful.

　　瑪麗的新衣服色彩鮮艷

　　3、be+動詞ing形式連用表持續(xù)：

　　We were walking down the street.

　　我們正走在街上。

　　My mother is watching TV in the room.

　　我媽媽正在房間里看電視。

　　4、be+介詞短語：

　　John and his wife are from Manchester.

　　約翰和他的妻子來自曼徹斯特。

　　The flowers are on the table.

　　花在桌子上。
