專四語(yǔ)法每日一練試題

1．選A 四個(gè)選項(xiàng)都有“繩索”這個(gè)意思，但只有thread和hang by構(gòu)成習(xí)語(yǔ)：hang by a thread千鈞一發(fā)
2．選D be+ prep+n（表動(dòng)作的名詞）來(lái)表示“被動(dòng)”而under discussion是習(xí)慣搭配
3．選B descend 指人，物體從某一高度/斜面上“下來(lái)/降”O(jiān)n turning the corner, we saw that the road descended sharply.
decline 強(qiáng)調(diào)權(quán)利，繁榮，成就，健康狀況，體力，記憶，數(shù)量的“減少，衰落”His influence declined after he lost the election.
ascend漸漸上升，descend的.反義詞。We watched the balloon ascend higher and higher.
plunge使突然前傾或下降 The sudden application of the brakes plunged him forward.
enhance 增加，提高The moonlight enhanced the beauty of the scene.
4．選D gear to使……適合，配合We must gear the amount of products we make to the increase in public demand. 現(xiàn)在來(lái)分析題目.題中的To……,是目的狀語(yǔ).而we 是主語(yǔ), gear.to是謂語(yǔ),而the qualitiesand varieties of products 是賓語(yǔ),而we make 是來(lái)修飾這個(gè)賓語(yǔ)的,the world-market demand是賓補(bǔ).句子的大致意思就是說(shuō)我們必須根據(jù)市場(chǎng)的需求制造商品,才能在市場(chǎng)上立足.
