The zoo has suitable climate and geographical conditions for wild animals,  thus keeping the natural characters. Up till now, there are more than ten species of first-class preserved animals in the zoo, such as panda  ,golden monkey and takin. The zoo is thus known as“a natural museum” or“a gene bank for wild animals”.
